Design a durable, cost-effective community facility that supports education and social services while providing dignity, light, and long-term resilience using locally available resources.
SOLUTION
The center is constructed using CMU for affordability, durability, and local accessibility. Classroom wings are balanced with community gathering spaces to support both learning and social engagement. Large openings, shaded balconies, and cross-ventilation reduce reliance on mechanical systems while improving comfort. Warm colors and rhythmic façades establish identity and pride within the community. The result is a sustainable, adaptable facility that elevates basic construction into a meaningful civic space, supporting education and community resilience for generations.
